Something nice about Marin County?

After much thought and consideration, my husband and I have decided to move our family to Marin (instead of Alamo, which was our other choice). Pretty much all that is said on this website about Marin and its residents is negative. Can someone please post whether they have had any positive experiences as a family in Marin? Thanks so much!
