How do I go about finding a product that a store no longer carries?

My daughter received a stuffed animal from my mom. It was a light brown/tan mommy and baby puppy. They were held together by thread that connected their feet. Both dogs were sitting in an upright position and they had (what felt like) black leather noses. Anyway, my mom purchased them at Kohl's and now they no longer carry them. The tag is worn on the stuffed animal and my daughter insists on carrying it everywhere. I wash it now like once a week because it's getting quite grotesque. I am seeking a replacement and I don't know how I can go about even finding the same stuffed animal. Is there a website or a store that carries specifically things that are no longer carried at your favorite department stores? Any help or advice is appreciated. I put this in the parenting section hoping to get advice from other moms that have been through this with their kids. Thanks in advance!
