Is it true that evolution cannot explain the origin of life?

It's impossible for scientists to know when the earth began because they aren't God, plain and simple. And therefore, they can't prove that such and such and so and so was alive 6,000,000 years ago or 6,000 years ago. There is no way for any human to possibly measure the amount of time the earth has been in existence, and 6,000,000 or 6,000,000,000 years is impossible to measure to begin with. If you can't measure that length of time, I can't see then how scientists can KNOW that the earth is that old. Doesn't make sense to me. Satan has truly come up with an ingenious plan. Since many scientists are atheists or believe that the world was created by the Big Bang Theory or similar, it was easy for Satan to fill their heads with lies about how old the earth was. Satan has blended half truths with lies and white lies to make everybody believe we descended from apes. Wouldn't surprise me a bit, after all, Satan has lied to people about everything else, and look where we're at: IN A TOTAL STATE OF CHAOS.
